Despite the gravity and intensity of collective unfoldings, I find it fascinating and enlivening to view these events with an archetypal perspective. It doesn't take away the pain, anger, indignation, or tears. However, it does provide a feeling that something big, significant, and major is happening here on Earth. It happens in and through our lives. It happens both within and beyond us. Through our struggles and triumphs, our joys and sorrows, an archetypal magic unfolds. There is immense Beauty in that realization. It is like a salve for the weary soul.

Things fall into place with greater ease and less burnout when we honor the larger outer rhythms by consciously arranging our smaller inner rhythms accordingly.
Through this process of living, potentials erupt into being, ignite, and burn out. A new ground is set forth, which blossoms into new forms of fullness. The cycle eternally continues and repeats.
Here's an example from my experience as a mother in applying a transpersonal perspective to childcare through animal symbolism. I also offer some tips for others curious to explore this approach-- helpful for parents, teachers, aunts and uncles, or anyone who wishes to interact more soulfully with children.
